Every day, Philiboss, an actor and director since 1988, sets off by mountain bike to photograph the forest trails of Châteauvieux, with Vahina, his husky, and you are welcome to follow. Every evening from 9 pm he leads a theatre improvisation session: no script to prepare, you play whatever comes. Everything is included in the price and nothing is compulsory: join in whenever you feel like it, one day or every day, or simply enjoy a quiet day.

An exceptional setting to unwind, with or without theatre.
The 6,000 m² grounds are not fenced. Mountain and forest trails start right from the property, ideal for mountain-bike rides. Gap-Tallard airfield is nearby, so now and then a plane or a skydiver passes overhead. It is never intrusive, just a discreet presence and never the point of the stay.

Sessions in French
Vahina-Paradis B&B is open to all, but Philiboss runs the sessions in French only.

Do I have to take part in the activities?
Not at all. The mountain-bike photo ride and the improv session are included in the price but optional: you can join in, watch, or simply spend a quiet day, with no obligation.
Do I need to know photography or acting?
No. A camera or just a phone is enough, and there is no script to learn and no role to prepare: you play whatever comes.
Can I book just one or two nights?
Yes, accommodation is à la carte, with no minimum stay.
Are lunch and dinner available on site?
Only breakfast is included. For other meals, several options nearby will be shared with you when you book. You can also cook for yourself if you like.
I’m travelling solo. Will I share a room?
Yes, all rooms are shared, with shared toilets and bathroom. Solo bookings sleep in a room with other guests.
What language are the sessions in?
Vahina-Paradis welcomes guests of all nationalities, but Philiboss runs the sessions exclusively in French. No translation is provided.
How do I get to Châteauvieux?
By car. Twenty minutes from Gap, two hours from Marseille, two and a half hours from Lyon. Exact directions are given when you book.
Can I cancel?
